Slippers (more comfortable than I thought they would be but look ridiculous 😁) and a half bottle of champagne with a very nice glass to welcome us to our cabin on arrival, also a voucher for a free glass of champagne with our dinner. Late getting away from Southampton as there was over 10,000 items of luggage to load, that's probably at least 3 cases per person, we, my wife and I, just had 3 between us. Too cold to go on deck for the sailaway for the fireworks but we managed to see them from the Meridian dining room. Great night's sleep.

Fairly quiet day, my wife and I celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary today and we had a special meal booked for tonight but unfortunately my wife has been as sick as a very sick dog! The weather has been atrocious, strong winds and a fair swell so the Sindhu meal has been cancelled, hope for better tomorrow.
